Lynn C. Rust, CPA - Certified QuickBooks® and Business Advisor (NH)
After earning a BS in Biology and realizing I did not want to be a forest ranger, work at Sea World, or teach high school biology, I worked in the construction field. It was during the construction years that I became passionate about starting my own business. I thought it would be a construction firm, but I also knew some additional accounting training was required. That meant back to school and eventually an MBA with a concentration in finance and small business was earned. Now what to do with this education? Construction was out since I graduated right smack in the middle of a recession, so I then took a position in Keene at a large regional CPA firm. Over the years I worked with hundreds of businesses. Finally, the opportunity presented itself for me to start my own CPA firm and really brand it with my strong desire to truly make a difference for the businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations we have worked with. My best friend and I are now empty nesters and reside in Swanzey with the highly trained attack dogs - Tucker and Oliver.

Arlene B. Lacasse, CPA - Certified Public Accountant (VT) After earning a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University in animal genetics and nutrition, and working in animal research for two years, Arlene made an extreme career switch. "I went back to college to get my accounting degree." Animal research was not for her! What science lost, mathematics gained! A CPA since 1982, Arlene worked in both large firms (over 100 people) and small firms (3 people), in Vermont, New Hampshire and New York before coming to Lynn C. Rust, CPA PC. "I like working in a larger firm, where there is more diversity in the jobs, and where there are co-workers to share ideas and experiences with. I love the diversity of working with a wide variety of clients. That's why I'm in public accounting." That is, unless it's opening balance equity! Arlene ranks it high on her "driving me nuts" list along with waiting in lines, commercials and rude people. To counter the insanity, you'll find Arlene chillin' out with the Patriots, her family, her pets, gory murder mysteries, and puzzles - "not necessarily in that order!"

Amanda Duhaime - Accountant/Business Advisor/QuickBooks® Consultant
Amanda originally started with Lynn C. Rust, CPA PC in 2001. Lynn Rust welcomed back Amanda after a brief hiatus. A graduate of Keene High School and Heald Business College in Honolulu, HI, Amanda moved to Maine for a couple of years and worked at a CPA office there. She also served as Assistant Manager of Timken Super Precision CU for a year before returning to the firm. "I work at LCRCPA because I enjoy working on a wide variety of projects and with a variety of clients. LCRCPA gives me the opportunity to do this. I have worked at other CPA firms and I haven't found one that has a dynamic quite like this one. Every day is something different here and I never get bored. I also enjoy working with all the people here. Everyone has something different to bring to the table with all their own experiences through the years and it's great to be able to bounce ideas off one another and see the different views people have on how to solve a problem. It's also great to work for a boss that believes in growth for their employees and believes the more the employees learn, the more they can do and benefit the company."
At work, Amanda focuses on business and individual tax returns, bookkeeping, and non-profit audits as well as helping and teaching others. "I like jobs you really need to think about and almost solve a puzzle. It may be a pain, but in the end those are the ones that challenge me the most and I end up really enjoying them."
Outside of work, Amanda shakes it up with lots of dancing and kickboxing and cools down by curling up with a good book or movie.

Selena Wilder - Customer Support Services
Selena is one of the newest members to the LCR staff. She proudly admits, "I am a 'local.' I graduated from Keene High and have stuck around ever since. Thankfully I did because I wouldn't have the wonderful family that I have now or even my career." Previously, Selena worked at Leon's Auto Center, where she met her husband and served at the local Olive Garden restaurant at night so she could stay at home with son Cam during the day. She also worked in corporate and retail environments and finds her practical experience "very helpful in my career, because I can at times find things to relate to and make things easier."
"I work for Lynn C. Rust because it is a continuous learning environment, but in a relaxing and fun sort of way. Everyone seems to enjoy what they are doing and are always smiling and laughing! I am very interested in learning all that I can about the accounting world and everyone here at the office are always there to help when needed."
Selena loves working directly with clients, "anything that has to do with communicating with a client, customer, guest or any other name you may use for another person. I am a very people oriented individual, in other words a social butterfly. I love being able to help others." While Selena does find some frustration working with people who can't admit they have no idea what they are doing, she always finds a solution to help a client in need.
Outside of work, Selena's life centers on her family. "I am passionate about my family. I have a two-year-old son Cameron, a husband Steven, two dogs Hunter & Colby and a kitty Chance. (I also have 4 'fishies' - one named stick (I didn't name him) and the rest remain nameless.) They are the most important things in my life and everything revolves around them. It is the best feeling in the world to spend a day at work enjoying what I do and then leaving those evenings and opening a door to see my wonderful family. Happiness is everything!"
