New business owners find less stress with LCR...
This is the first time for us as business owners. We were looking for an accountant to steer and guide us in the right direction. We really don't have much accounting knowledge and have never used QuickBooks®, so I personally value the precision, the timeliness of completing our work, and the friendliness of the staff. Lynn, Kim, and Linda have been phenomenal. If I have questions, they always get back to me promptly and explain things on a level that I can understand. It takes the burden off me. I'm less stressed. Taking a team approach to your business...
I have an accounting background and I thought that if I started using the services of an accountant I would never expand my personal knowledge. I was afraid I would not be allowed to assume more fiscal control in my own business. However, with instruction and guidance from Lynn C. Rust, CPA PC, I have learned so much. We problem solve together rather than me just handing over my problems and never learning how to fix them. Plus I get to call the shots, do what I feel comfortable doing and hand off the rest when I am either not capable or do not have time. I have also saved so much time by calling or emailing a quick question, rather than having to spend hours researching the answer all by myself.
I feel confident that I am doing things correctly and not making a mess of my books! I constantly learn new things which allow me to expand my services. Many people told the company not to do a computerized POS (Point of Sale) because it would limit what we can do, but I disagree. Sharpening business skills toward success...
I had an accountant and didn't have anything else to go by. I thought everything was fine. I had a call from Lynn and he came to see me and wanted to know about my sharpening business. I was absolutely thrown. I got the feeling Lynn was really interested and fascinated by my business. Lynn explained what he and his staff could do for me in comparison to the service I had. The affordable cost amazed me compared to what I was getting.
In previous years, I always had to file and extension for my taxes. I made an appointment with Linda Myers. My office was in complete turmoil and Linda spent the whole day with me and remained so calm as we sorted my papers. She helped me put my books in order and QuickBooks has made it so much easier to track customers and what they owe. I couldn't do that before and now my cash flow is in check.
I think what I appreciate most is the great staff. Whenever I call in "panic mode", no matter who picks up the phone, any one of the girls puts me in a calm state of mind. If I mess something up, they help me fix it. It's priceless to get out of panic mode. And Lynn, he gives great suggestions for helping me improve my business. When the economy started turning bad, Lynn suggested I offer our part-time drivers a bonus if they could provide me with new customers. I told the drivers and it's worked out great. I haven't had the chance to thank Lynn enough about the suggestion.
